If you are the Parent of a BHS or BMS Special Needs Student, we believe the upcoming Bloomfield SEPAC Meeting will prove very helpful. This Meeting is centered on helping your child with Transitioning from High school to college, to a career and to an adult life in general.
Our very special guest speaker, Ms. Dawn Oliver Monaco, is widely respected as a Parent Professional Trainer and the Coordinator/Co-Director of REACH for Transition for the renowned NJ SPAN. (NJ Statewide Parent Advocacy Network, Inc.)
We know that you, as a parent of a special needs student, are familiar with IEPs, 504s, special accommodations and the host of various items and information to help your child get the free and appropriate education they deserve. This special SEPAC Meeting offers lots of new and important information for you and your child. It it will deal issues for the older student and chances are many of the topics will be unfamiliar, but very useful to you.
