Meet the Executive Director of N.J. Council of Developmental Disabilities, 12/2 at the Bloomfield Civic Center, 7 – 8:30 P.M.

smallsepac (2)If you have a special needs student that is high school age or older, it may prove helpful meeting Mr. Kevin Casey, the new Executive Director of (NJCDDD), the New Jersey Council of Developmental Disabilities.  

He will be at the Bloomfield Civic Center this Wednesday evening, Dec.2, 2015, from 7 – 8:30 P.M. for an “Information Gathering and Listening Session.”  Download the NJC DDD Fall 2015 Newsletter – here.

Bloomfield SEPAC Meeting on 11-18-15 at BHS from 7 – 9 PM

logo_sepac1blueWe are delighted to have noted Bloomfield Resource Teacher Jason Triano, as our Special Guest Speaker at Bloomfield High School on Wednesday, November 18, 2015 from 7 – 9 P.M.

Mr. Triano will be filling us in about a fascinating new study that deals with the perception of people with autism. There will be an Open Forum afterwards with Mr. Triano taking questions from our Bloomfield SEPAC Member Parents about this Study or anything relating to special education.

DATH Toy & Clothing Drive – Dec. 5, 2015. 12 – 4 P.M (Please note the new drop off location.)

Our friends at DATH, (Development and Advancing Through Humanities) led by Bloomfield SEPAC Mom, Gilda Morales will be collecting Toys & Clothing for kids and families in need on Saturday, December 5, 2015, from 12-4 P.M. at 511 Summer Avenue, Newark NJ 07104.

Please support this project by donating a new toy to a child. Any toy will be greatly appreciated and valued. It will definitely put a smile on a child’s face this Christmas.
