SEPAC Meeting March 14

In collaboration with the Director of Special Services, SEPAC is pleased to have Dr. Kenna M. Colley present on the researched-based book by Carter, Cushing, and Kennedy:  Peer Support Strategies for Improving All Students’ Social Lives and Learning.

Dr. Kenna M. Colley

Dr. Colley is an Associate Professor of the School of Teacher Education and Leadership, Special Education Programs, at Radford University, Virginia.  She has worked as an educator supporting students with disAbilities in general education classrooms in preschool through high school.  She is an active presenter at state and national conferences on collaboration, best practices in inclusive settings, positive behavioral supports, and peer supports for students with disAbilities.  Kenna has appeared as the special education teacher in the HBO documentary, Educating Peter and has contributed to several books on inclusive education.

All parents and professionals are invited to attend on March 14, 7-9pm at the Oakview Elementary School (150 Garrabrant Avenue, Bloomfield).
